Flatirons Meadows has shown solid sales and strong equity year over year. With Mountain Views and proximity to Longmont, Erie, Lafayette and Boulder there is no doubt this Boulder County neighborhood is a desireable place to live.

Most recently the home owners that bought early in the development have seen record equity and have been selling to cash into the equtiy and some have left Colorado. In the coming months we will be receiving the new tax bills from Boulder County which might create another uptick in those wanting to list their homes.

Here is the most recent coorespondance from Boulder County regarding the upcoming tax notifications. Please reach out to me or one of your REALTOR friends if you need help contesting your tax bill. Watching the market in early 2022 with record prices to what we are seeing today will have an impact on what your homes value is when it comes to the taxes. A cooling in the appreciation is happening at this moment and all signs point to continued appreciation but at a decelerated pace. Will the rates dropping in the near future cause another Sellers market causing bidding wars, waived contingencies and price jumps? Many are saying yes especially in Boulder County.

Info from the Boulder County Assessors office:  "We will be sending out new values to property owners on May 1st, 2023.  They will receive a Notice of Valuation which will contain valuation changes and appeal instructions.  The appeal period runs from May 1 through June 8th, 2023.   The value for their property after they have exercised their right to appeal is used to calculate their taxes payable in 2024."
